At Stepping Stones of Market Bosworth, we want every child to feel happy, safe and confident while they are with us. We provide a fun, welcoming environment where children can learn, explore, make friends and, most importantly, enjoy being themselves.
We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), offering a mixture of child-led play, activities and opportunities to explore new things. We understand that every child is different, so we take the time to get to know their individual interests, personalities and abilities, supporting them to learn and develop at their own pace.
Every child has a dedicated key worker who gets to know them and their family, helping them to feel settled, supported and confident during their time with us. Each child also has their own learning journey, where we record their experiences, achievements and development. Parents and carers are encouraged to be involved too, sharing photos, achievements and things their child has been enjoying at home. This helps us work together to give each child the best possible experience.
Our experienced and caring team are always on hand to encourage children, join in with their play and help them discover new things. We follow each child's interests and use these to create fun, engaging experiences that help them build confidence, develop new skills and enjoy learning. We also like to give the children opportunities to experience the world around them, whether that's exploring our surroundings, enjoying different activities or taking part in special experiences throughout the year.

Fees and Funding
At Stepping Stones of Market Bosworth, we offer funded early education places for eligible children. Funding can be used across our available sessions, allowing families to choose the sessions that best suit their childcare needs, subject to availability.s. To Check eligibility please click here.

Funded hours are provided completely free of charge. There are no mandatory fees or additional charges attached to accessing your child's funded entitlement.
Childcare funding must be kept up to date by parents/carers, including reconfirming eligibility through their childcare account when required and providing valid funding codes to the preschool. Where funding is not in place or becomes invalid, any resulting childcare fees will be chargeable to parents/carers.

Optional Daily Extras Charge
We offer an optional, voluntary daily extras charge to help cover items provided for your child, such as snacks and specialist resources for optional activities and events.
£2 per 6 hour session
£1.50 per 3/4 hour session
This charge is entirely optional and is not a condition of accessing a funded place. Parents and carers who choose not to pay the charge will be offered an alternative arrangement, in line with our Policy.
Learning resources and materials required for the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage are provided as part of your child's funded place and are not subject to an additional charge.
All additional charges are clearly shown and agreed with parents/carers before they are applied.
